In this episode, Jeremy and Socar discuss the phrase, "Support Your Local Artist".
We also briefly touch upon the maintenance of one's on-line persona.
Where is the line to be drawn?
We also offer humble critique of two recent pieces by the talented illustrator, Preston Stone.
Many thanks, Preston!
They were some fine work and we hope our thoughts were of use to you.

Yaaaay! Its been a while, but I forgives ya...
* Visual Artist Podcast Network can still be found at their .wordpress address. No idea what happened with the direct .com URL. (the site that brings up currently is in Japanese text, not Chinese)
* If people buy your work and state before you ever would that they "want to support the local artist", would you refuse the sale out of indignity? :)
Good show.
Thanks, guys.
I will not likely challenge the buyer's motives in purchasing my work, but it is just not the message I would project in seeking the sale, if that makes sense.
Charity isn't part of my elevator pitch---though perhaps I should consider it. ;)
It's a fine line I suppose. ;)
Thanks for the heads-up about the wordpress site for the network!
Also ( 'cuz I will be constantly promoting our new site)--don't forget to head over to www.ninjamountain.org
It is the new blog site and features a new log-in forum that will serve the listening community. :)
you ninjas are awesome as always.
you all helped motivate me to pursue my passion in art via freelance.
I landed a gig doing a comic book, that will debute at the long beach comic con in Nov... If I finish it this week...and don't die trying.
I'm not a comic artist really, but If i do indeed survive this I would love to talk with you about my experience as a new freelancer so others may hear what it's like for someone just now starting out in the freelance world.
if any ninjas are at the longbeach comic con come find me in artist's alley, the comic is "HUMAN". this will be my first time even going to a convention..nervous.
you all helped make this happen. thank you.
