Episode 96---WonderCon and just plain wondering...

This episode begins with our man in the street, Patrick McEvoy, who was doing the rounds at WonderCon this year!
Patrick is joined by creators:
Jules Rivera ( though the interview was devoured whole by sad circumstance.)

This segment is followed by freely roaming banter between Patrick, Socar, and Jeremy.
Enjoy!

Wow, that was great! And what a great show Wondercon was. I really enjoyed the chat with Patrick. Socar, I went two shows thinking you would be there. I hope you make it to a show one of these days.

I've just been watching a youtube vid of Wondercon 2011. The outfits people have made are very nice. watch?v=HuPsZrmj7F4 There appears to be a zombie stormtrooper at 3:33.

Hey Jeremy - it was fun meeting you! Good luck with the project!

Great video Gordon (here's the complete link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HuPsZrmj7F4 ) I heard about zombie Stormtrooper but I never saw him at the show. I'm glad he's in there!

I'm really enjoying this podcast. I only came across it recently and have been addicted to it ever since.

Thanks to all of you for the effort you put in, this is great!

Thanks and hi, Kiri! Glad to have you on board. :)

Great show, I don't think I've ever enjoyed so much listening to people talk about nothing.

I'll go back to listening older shows too while I draw.

Patrick: I saw the Green Lantern costume but couldn't find a shot of his feet.
But what bothers me the most is the actor: he looks like Ben Stiller!
I can't take the character seriously now! hhaah

Thanks Felipe. I'd recommend starting at the beginning so you can chart our gradual descent into decadence and madness. Enjoy! :)

Aledin - I think if they do the character right the Green Lantern could be fun. That actor did great in Blade 3 I thought, and also did good as Deadpool in Wolverine. But I'm worried it will be an "action-comedy" like the dreadful Green Hornet. Bleh.

Jana Schirmer aka Janaschi mentioned by Socar is half of the awesome german duo (the other being her friend Algenpfleger) of talented super young artists. Well worth watching even if you're not into worm erotica.

As for fanart, cool artists do fanart too :)

Dave Rapoza did a series on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (definitely with his own spin on things)

Dave's DA

And even Daarken did some FA recently:

Also, I'm not sure it's something to be proud of, but I've listened to every single episode of NM more than 5 times already.

Combined with a few other podcasts, NM is pretty much all I ever listen to while painting.

Ehm...

PATRICK IS MY FAVOURITE!

I just want to thank Patrick, Socar and Jeremy for the touching tribute episode. And I didn't even think you knew it was my birthday.
