Episode 112---Honey Badger don't waste no time...

This week's episode features brief and awkward discussion about a topic seldom addressed in polite society and then goes south in a hurry...
At the end, we offer critique on the latest illustrative effort from listener, Gerard Regan (aka. Reggerard)
Well done, sir!

Hey, I noticed Socar made some really salient comments this week.
On a side note, has anyone noticed the river is very blood red in colour and there are also an inordinate number of amphibians roaming the streets?
Just saying.

Great episode, Ninjas! It was fun to waste my time on this, good topic. Thanks for helping me get through my Monday of in-house tedium!
Jeremy, good luck with illustrator, it can be fun, once you master the pen tool of course, the 3d filter/effect is nifty to experiment with.

Tommi, that was cruel, yet fair. XD

Thanks JG! Always glad to be the folks who get you through the day..

Thank you very much for your critique of my illustration. It has been many years since I've had a real, honest-to-goodness evaluation of my work by artists. There is truly no faster way to learn. Your observations and advice will engender light-years of improvement in my composition, color choice, use of photo reference, (just to name a few).

You all really have the best illustration podcast on the interwebs (and I've been looking). Thanks for sharing your expertise.

Best,

Gerard Regan

Gerry! You're very welcome. Thanks again for sending in your artwork, we do appreciate it. And it's always really good to know that we could help in some way.

Glad you like the podcast too! Keep in touch!

May I point out that the Amazon page for Socar's book states: "Socar Myles is a London-based bantasy and comic book artist."
Maybe I'm missing a trend here, but I could not think of anything named "bantasy".
Maybe "bentasy" for a motley crue of elven contortionists or even "buntasy" for crash test dummies who suddenly develop a consiousness...

Did the mountain come under siege by dragons? I miss my illustrator's podcasting insanity...

Yes, we're still alive! After our last recording Jeremy got kind of buried in work, so I've just gotten the file to edit from him and hopefully we'll have this thing out soon! It's got Me, Jeremy, Socar, Drew and Ralph - hopefully it will be worthy of your waiting!
