Join Socar, Patrick, Jeremy, Eric, and Ralph as they wax poetic on topics such as juggling clients, money, and 70's television.
We are also joined by the good folks at Sketch-o-holic, Marcin and Carlos!
Sit down, relax, and let us take you on yet another magical journey...to some place...magical.

Many apologies for taking so long to get this episode to you. Our editor--Jeremy--was buried in deadlines and teaching duties. A very late night after class solved the problem, though. Sleep is for the weak...;)

yay! I was having trouble getting through the days without a my ninja fix.
by the way the doohicky that plugs into your smart phone is called square. here is a link.

Btw, I have it, and it rocks!
\o/ Awesome! Now I feel like going home and doing some work, just so I could listen to NM while painting. :D
Hey, thanks for the info, Jeremy! I knew it was something simple like that... ;P
Cool, Jan, hope you enjoy! :D
Holy Cow! Just fell out of my chair! Thanks guys!
Tiffany Laurencio
PS: Socar, you can be one of my girlfriends!! We can go shopping for coats and not buy them :)
Heyyy, can I be a girlfriend too?!
Wait.
Thanks for answering my question! Didn't expect that.
Hi
I really enjoy your podcast and thank you for doing it. I agree with the person whose comments you read out in this episode; doing art can be isolating but your podcast makes me feel more connected with what other people are doing and what is going on in the world of fantasy art.
Thank you again.
Alex
Loving the podcast guys! I was just thinking. how many of you guys are going to illuxcon? I'll be going for the first time this year and it would be great to have a ninja mountain meetup of sorts. just throwing it out there.
Tomorrow is APE! (alternative press expo) I was wondering if anyone was going to be able to make it. I'll be there, and it shall be fun. :)
Hey, thanks listeners, both old an new. Always happy to take questions, of course! Thanks, Tiffany and Jan for that. :)
Denman - I'm almost certain Jeremy McHugh will be at Illuxcon again this year, and I'm sure we'll hear a lot more about it as the time approaches. I'm sure he'll want to do a get together of some sort!
Alex, thanks for commenting. Don't be a stranger!
Hey, Jeremy, I'll be at APE on Saturday hanging out - I'll be sure to look for you there.
Another helpful episode! I second the sentiment that it's good to have a sense of virtual comaraderie during the long hours spent at the drawing table.
I'm not sure if it's been mentioned before, but are any of the NM crew planning to attend Spectrum's convention in Kansas City next year? It looks to be an interesting venue. Link: http://www.spectrumfantasticart.com/spectrumfantasticartlive/
Regarding Illuxcon, it's small enough that you are sure to meet Jeremy and Drew if he's there and a lot of NM listeners, even if by accident. I'll have a table, Chris Burdett will have a table (and Jeremy.) And even if you meet people whom you don't know as NM listeners, most of them will be friendly and interesting.. I know I had a ball last year. And smile, you never know when the person in front of you is an AD.
I have a question for the next podcast or one in the future. Other than going to cons, how do you actually find clients?
Alas, will there be a new episode on the horizon? I'm getting feverish, and starting to get the shakes!
We just recorded one today, Jeremy, and we answered Kiri's question! It was a small group - just me, Socar and Kieran. S/B out early next week!
YAY! <3
Awaiting the new episode! Can't wait for my ninja fix, son two months since my last fix. I gave you a review on iTunes btw, since I got an iPad, my iTunes "boycot" ended:p
Btw, socar has an iPad, have you tried autodescks sketchbook? It's loads of fun^^
I put up a few of my iPad sketches on my blog if you're interested in having a look:-)

Hey, I like the iPad sketches--particularly the zombie face! I have Art Rage on my iPad, myself, but I haven't yet had time to play with it much. I heard that the iPad 3 will allow a pressure-sensitive tablet to be connected (or does the iPad 2 do that already?)--so maybe I'll get one of those little Wacom Bamboos, when I get my next iPad, and give that a go. I'm not getting another one till the iPad 3 comes out, though. The 2 wasn't enough of an upgrade to justify the price.
